Set up of 10 Reading Clubs in Cameroon

The Reading Clubs have the following objectives:
– Stimulate reading among pupils and create “Fun to Read”
– Increase reading skills among pupils.
The Reading Clubs will be formed by pupils from class 3, 4, 5 and 6. We aim to have a random selection of pupils in the Reading Clubs. There will be two coordinators of a Reading Club, one teacher and one community coordinator.
Knowledge for Children will provide the clubs with story books developed for children in Uganda and Cameroon.
